The ESSENTIAL UN
In my last few weeks at UN Publications, I designed the cover for this authoritative reference and overview of the work of the UN.
The photo of the Secretariat building was taken on my iPhone 5, years before I designed this cover. The stature of the building and what it stands for ended up being key for the geometric design of the cover.
The design process was as smooth as they come. The only thing that changed after round 1 was removing the clouds from the sky, to make it the lines and all elements come together in an even cleaner way.
